A replication site can now be created as a replication
view by using the <a href="../api_reference/C/repset_view.html" class="olink">DB_ENV->rep_set_view()</a> method. A replication view
is a read-only copy of some or all of the replicated
databases that cannot become master, participate in
elections, or contribute to transaction durability.
