<h2>Should I disable my antivirus software?</h2>

If you have antivirus software, you might want to disable it prior to installing any new software.  In particular, 
if you run Norton,  you should disable "autoprotect" before installing MathXpert.  If this seems too difficult,  no harm will come of 
proceeding without disabling your antivirus software.  It may work fine; but if,  after installation,  MathXpert complains that it has not been properly 
installed and asks you to reinstall,  then you should disable your antivirus software and try again.
